Boyden is pleased to share the appointment news of Sari Taha, a recruitment led by Kathy Rahme

Toronto, ON - June 7, 2024

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Sari Taha as Chief Executive Officer of SBCI effective August 26, 2024.

Sari started his career in Public Education in 2002 with the Halton District School Board. He is currently the Superintendent of Human Resources serving as a key member of the senior leadership team for the Board, where he provides strategic human resources direction and advice to the Director of Education, the senior leadership team and the Board of Trustees.

Sari is a Member of the Labour Relations Council (LRC) for the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA), and has served on a variety of provincial and school board committees including the Council of Senior Human Resources Officials. Sari holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Public Management from the University of Guelph, a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University. He is a Certified Human Resources Leader from the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).

Sari lives with his family in Stoney Creek and loves to stay active through running and weight training.

Sari will succeed Brian Brown, who founded SBCI in 1995 and has successfully led SBCI for 30 years. We wish Brian all the best in his retirement.
