In time, all board directors come to a crossroads in their board career. Making the decision when to resign from a board comes in many forms - terms, conflict of interest, personal circumstances, irreconcilable differences, change in management, and so on - with some being clearer motivators than others.  And once the decision is made, understanding the steps to take and the support to seek is critical. 

In the fourth and final session of our Board Journey 360 Master Class Series, Boyden Board recruitment expert Lisa Kershaw leads a panel of experienced board directors and legal experts on why, when, and how to resign with professionalism and integrity. In this unique discussion, the panel shares personal experiences, knowledge, and specific considerations for one to carefully address as they consider when to 'move on'.

About Board Journey 360^o: Master Class Series 

Board Journey 360^o: Master Class Series is designed specifically for women leaders ready to step into their board director journey, exploring all elements from recruiting to service, and what’s beyond. The hybrid program developed in partnership by International Women's Forum Canada, Toronto Chapter, and Boyden, is comprised of a 4-part virtual workshop that includes live instruction, interactive discussion, breakouts, and multiple expert speakers across the board leadership spectrum.
