I am also thrilled to announce that Wendy Miller will be joining Southlake as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
Wendy joins us from York University where she has been serving as Acting Assistant Vice President, Budgets and Asset Management. Prior to this role, she was the Assistant Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at York University.
Wendy is a senior finance executive with more than 25 years of experience. Prior to joining York University, she worked in the private sector, including as an Associate Partner and Executive Director of Public Sector Assurance at Ernst & Young.
Wendy is a Chartered Professional Account and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. Her first day will be May 1, 2024.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Cindy Wang for serving as our Interim CFO over the last year. Her expertise has been invaluable and I look forward to her continued contributions as Southlake’s Deputy CFO. She will continue to support the Executive Leadership Team until Wendy is on board.
