Mackenzie Health Announces New VP, Finance and CFO

Announcement by Altaf Stationwala, President and CEO, Mackenzie Health: 

It is my pleasure to announce that Greg Chow has accepted the role of Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Mackenzie Health, effective August 28, 2023.

Greg brings over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital finance and decision support. He joins us most recently from Women’s College Hospital, where he held the role of Vice President, Finance, Partnerships and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Greg had a broad portfolio and was responsible for leading Finance, Facilities, Emergency Preparedness, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Services, and providing administrative oversight of the DASA program, and the META:PHI network. Greg has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree, both in Economics, from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management. Greg is a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Greg’s strong leadership and demonstrated commitment to collaboration will be significant assets to Mackenzie Health. In his role of Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Greg will provide leadership and oversight for the Finance and Analytics portfolio and will play a lead role in the development of long and short-term strategic plans, which include proposed major capital and resource expansions, and providing strategic direction for data analytics to support compliance and risk mitigation. Through this work, Greg will help enable the organization to deliver on its commitment to provide highly reliable, safe care to our patients and community.
