Abbotsford School District Announces New Associate Superintendent, Human Resources

The Abbotsford School District is pleased to announce that Patricia La Framboise-Lo has accepted the position of Associate Superintendent, Human Resources. La Framboise-Lo will step into the role on the Senior Leadership team on October 3, where she will guide the human resources portfolio and drive the district's commitment to fostering a progressive workforce aligned with its strategic plan.

With extensive involvement in people management, staff development and training, conflict resolution, and labour relations, La Framboise-Lo brings a wealth of diverse experience to this role. Her expertise in human resources management, combined with her passion for advancing employee wellness strategies focused on mental, physical, and emotional health, will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of the school district's work.

Commenting on the appointment, Superintendent of Schools Sean Nosek stated, "We are delighted to welcome Patricia to our team as the Associate Superintendent for Human Resources. Her leadership and dedication to cultivating a dynamic workforce align perfectly with our vision of providing a world-class, innovative, and individualized educational experience for every student as we deliver on our continued commitment to excellence for all."

With a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University and a designated Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), La Framboise-Lo is a leader with over 15 years of experience in the sector. Since 2015, she has served as Director of the Human Resources Branch for the Abbotsford Police Department.

The Abbotsford School District's Senior Leadership team serves as a crucial catalyst in driving forward the Board of Education's strategic plan and vision, ensuring that every decision made puts the needs of students at the forefront so they are prepared and inspired for a lifetime of success.
