Congratulations to 2018's Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame Inductees

Canada’s petroleum sector boasts a rich and colourful history – a history best told and understood through the words, deeds and accomplishments of successive generations of men and women who can be appropriately characterized as our industry’s founders and builders.

The Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame was created in 1997 to establish an annual process by which significant contributions to the industry can be recognized, honoured and celebrated. Today, more than 160 men and women have been recognized as “chapters” and inducted in the Petroleum Hall of Fame.

This year the Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame will add six individuals who have made major achievements and contributions to the Canadian petroleum industry. The 2018 inductees are:

  • Neil Camarta
  • Pat Carlson
  • Dr. John Lacey
  • Joy Romero
  • Ronald Sorokan
  • Hank Swartout

As Board Director and Selection Committee Co-Chair respectively, Boyden's Morgan Campbell and Kevin Gregor are pleased to celebrate these unique colleagues and their achievements and contributions to the Canadian petroleum industry.
