Each spring, Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's black-tie gala brings together business, government, and community leaders to induct the Board of Trade's immediate past chair into its prestigious Council of Governors. In addition, the event also honours the winners of the Rix Awards for Community and Corporate Citizenship, which are presented each year in memory of past Board of Trade Chair and renowned philanthropist Dr. Don Rix.
We extend congratulations to B.C. power couple, Wendy Lisogar-Cocchia and Sergio Cocchia, Vancouver-based entrepreneurs, and philanthropists, for their 2023 Rix Award for Engaged Community Citizenship and White Spot for their Engaged Corporate Citizenship Rix Award. As well, we congratulate Kirsten Sutton as this year’s Inductee into the prestigious Council of Governors.
